Apps for use with young children and students with disabilities

iConverse

iConverse is an Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) app developed by Xcellent Creations.     It has 6 built in communication buttons that display graphics for basic needs: Bathroom, Drink, Food, Sick, Break and Help.  A male and female voice is available or you can record your own voice.  Once an icon is selected, a visible display of the text associated with that button is seen.  You can create additional communication buttons.  The video below demonstrates this process.

Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.0 or later
