Apps for use with young children and students with disabilities

Stories2Learn

Stories2Learn app is a powerful way to promote social messages to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.  S2L offers parents and educators the ability to create personalized stories using photos, text, and audio messages.  These stories can be used to promote an individual’s literacy, leisure, as well as social skills.  This app comes preloaded with 12 finely crafted social narratives that can be used to teach social skills in the areas of reciprocal play, non-verbal communication, playground and school rules, turn taking, and more.  The preloaded stories can also be changed and adapted to the user’s needs.  The user can create their own stories and add their own audio and write dialogue that correspond to their photos as well.
