Sam Choo talked about this app on the QIAT listserv on 6/20/11. He said: “One of my favorite apps is “iRewardChart.” It is an app of iPod, iPhone, or even iPad for teachers (or parents) who want to reward their children for their good behavior and keep them motivated. A theoretical background of this app is a “Token Economy System” with “Response Cost.” Basically,
children will “earn Stars (reward)” when they show appropriate behavior. Once children save up some stars, they can pay out a reward such as computer time, or ice cream, etc. They also can “lose Stars (consequence)” when they show inappropriate behavior.

  2. Thank you McGregor for the wonderful comment.
Yeah, Sam Choo is an academician, who we know, is working on research on the topic. We’re still looking forward to his research papers, but its great to learn the positive remarks.
Look fwd to learn lot more to help us build the features thru the research report.
