Previous Projects

The Rural Institute has developed and distributed many publications since its inception. It is the Rural Institute's goal to increase the knowledge and awareness of consumers, service providers, professionals, policymakers, and the general public by disseminating information on issues and practices that are designed to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families living in rural areas.

American Indian Disability Technical Assistance Center
In conjunction with other programs at the Rural Institute of The University of Montana, AIDTAC addressed issues of employment, transportation, health, independent living, voter participation, and education. Funding was discontinued in 2008.
