Bio

Jean Paskert has a B.A. in Elementary / Special Education from Kent State University and an M.A. in Computers & Technology in Education from Lesley College. Jean taught for 3 years and has worked as a Para-Pro Educator & Tutor for 20 years before coming to The Rural Institute.

Jean organizes, supervises, and coordinates all of the front office activities for The Rural Institute.

Jean comes from a large family. Her parents had six children. She was raised in the state of Ohio. Jean has been married for 27 years to her husband Mike, and they have two daughters ages 18 and 20. She has been a co-owner of Big Sky Business Forms with her husband for 20 years.

Jean's many hobbies include outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing, biking, hiking, and swimming. She also enjoys going to museums, traveling, and reading. Her travels have led her to many European countries, Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii.
