Local Projects
The Rural Institute contracts individually with local agencies that provide early intervention services in each of the five regions of Montana. Each agency is responsible for setting up a core team in one of the communities that they serve. The core team's members should include representatives from other local agencies that serve children and families and at least one parent. The function of the core team is to organize a community team that will address public awareness and child find issues in the community for all agencies that serve families and create an action plan of activities to be implemented.
