We have collected information from the following States regarding State
and local public awareness and child find activities that have been effective
in rural communities and regions by conducting telephone interviews
with the Part C coordinators and with local agencies that serve rural
areas. Highlights of the interviews can be viewed by clicking
on the States' names below, but the information on this site is not a
complete summary of all the activities states have implemented for child
find and public awareness. If you would like more information from
any of the interviews you can contact Jillian Jurica at the Rural Institute
by calling (406) 243-2390, by writing to: Rural Institute - University
of Montana, Attn: Jillian Jurica, 52 Corbin Hall, Missoula, MT 59812,
or by e-mailing: jjurica@ruralinstitute.umt.edu
