Public Awareness and Child Find Activites

Public Awareness and Child Find Activites believed to be most effective
  • Translate all materials into Spanish. Also are planning to translate some materials into Navajo on audio tape since most of the Native American languages are oral languages.
  • Brochures, developmental wheels, any items that can be disseminated at local referral sources
Concerns regarding finding more children
  • Cost-effectiveness, it is hard to measure what strategies bring in most referrals.
  • Manpower is always a concern.
