Overview of Part C Services	The Dept. of Education is the lead agency that provides fiscal services and resource coordinators.  The Dept. of Health provides direct services.   Providers are hired by Dept. of Health and are state employees.  There is one statewide agency that provides services for the entire state, with is divided into 11 regions.  If they don't have a provider to meet a child's particular need they will contract out those services.  Most services are home-based.
Public Awareness and Child Find Activities	Are targeting Doctors as a referral source.  In association with their Universities, they developed a training program for Doctors through Continuing Education.  The Dept. of Health also made a video for doctors about Part C servics. As part of the monitoring process, a public awareness action plan for each of their team's regional coordinators is written.  Each coordinator implements their public awareness action plan and facilitates the local team. Public Awareness and Child Find Activities believed to be most effective	Statewide there has been an effort to make sure information is reaching the Spanish population. This has involved translating ad materials and reports for the Spanish TV station.
Concerns regarding finding more children	Making sure they reach children early enough. More public awareness for doctors and nurses.
