Teleconference #1: An Overview of Customized Employment and the Customized Career Planning Model

We will broadcast to these locations simultaneously:

Glendive: Carney Conference Center room #3, 107 Dilworth
Miles City: Miles Community College, room #106, 2715 Dickenson
Billings: MSU Billings, MT Center on Disabilities Conference Room, Education Building.

This teleconference will provide an overview of the EM-GTW project and introduce participants to Customized Employment, the process of Discovery, the Vocational Profile as an alternative assessment tool, and the Representational Portfolio as a tool for job development. Primarily this session is to reach people who were unable to attend the initial on-site trainings held in Billings and Miles City on 10/18 and 10/20.

The session will be broadcast over speaker phone, accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and facilitated by an on-site volunteer.

This training is an activity of the Eastern Montana Graduate to Work Project, (EM-GTW), which is sponsored by the Montana Council on Developmental Disabilities and the University of Montana’s Rural Institute with local partners: Region I CSPD, Region III CSPD, MAP, and the Montana Center on Disabilities and MSU-Billings.

There is no cost to attendees.
